RoadMaintanence:
To specify alternative maintenance standards to be applied to different types of road surface and associated road maintenance costs.
A road maintenance standard is defined as a set of operations with definite intervals or other criteria to determine when to carry them
out.
Any maintenance standard is applicable only to a particular surface and for a specified range of traffic flow.

To give general characteristics of vehicle groups
that make up the fleet.
Vehicles may be defined in various ways, e.g., according to type (car, bus, truck,...), capacity (5-ton,10-ton, 15-ton trucks), design (engine power, fuel type, axleconfiguration,... ). Whatever categories are chosen must be related to
appropriate vehicle types covered by the vehicle operating cost (v.o.c.) relations that are to be used.
